Ski and Swim
You can ski all day here and then swim at the Hot Springs Pool. What a treat! When you can swim in the middle of winter, well, what can one say. And it's therapeutic too. Relax those muscles so that you can get back out on the slopes the next day.
Snowboarding
Sunlight is improving on its three existing terrain parks. Free riders will find themselves facing some new and challenging features hidden in the Aspen forests. New logs await to test your riding ability in Gibson Glades!
Snowmobiling
Snowmobilers will be impressed by the beauty and thrill of riding through the White River National Forest and checking out the 360 degree views from the ridge tops. At Country Point, riders can see three different counties: Garfield, Mesa, and Pitkin. The best part of the tour is a visit to Baylor Park, where guests can ride without guides through a huge undulating meadow. The scenery includes breathtaking views of Mt. Sopris, the West Elk Mountains and faraway Flattops.
Cross Country and Snow Shoe trails
There are tens of kilometers of groomed cross country and snowshoe trails. Beginning, intermediate and advanced trails wind their way through a gorgeous high valley, flanked by Sunlight Mountain and the 10,300 foot Williams Peak.
Shuttle Service
Sunlight Shuttle will pick you up in town at various locations and bring you back down the mountain in the afternoon. The Shuttle is only $2.00 per ride and trips are scheduled in the morning and afternoon. It's all so that you can enjoy the mountain free of details and cares!
