Details:  The race consists of an uphill climb over the Colorado high peaks above Twin Lakes. This is a hundred-mile round trip. These are the highest 100-mile cycle and running events in the United States. As the toughest race of its kind in North America, the Leadville Trail 100 takes place at altitudes ranging from 9,500 feet - 13,000 feet. You can't find a comparable race anywhere else in the nation.

Don't come unprepared if you plan to participate in this event. Train hard, and get ready for the challenge of a lifetime. If you can make it to the finish line, success will be yours.
